    Hello everybody!

    Good morning Ladies!

Sorry it has been a very long time since I have logged on and posted anything.  I do come on and check posts while at work quite often but have not sat down and actually posted anything in a long time.  I apologize for that.  I am glad that there are those of you who still log on and reply to the posts.

As for me......life is busy as always.  It is Memorial Day and while I didnt' have to work I am in here........reading and sending out reports.  I am getting ready to go to a National Drug Court Confernce after Family Drug Court tomorrow and so wanted to come in and make sure I have everything ready to roll when I leave.  I won't be back until Saturday night.  The conference is in St. Louis and I am really looking forward to it.

Kids are doing well, work is frantically busy most of the time and recovery is still awesome.  I spent most of my weekend at home, hanging out with my teenage daughters and doing a little cleaning and other household stuff.........NOT A LOT THOUGH!  :)

I hope you are all doing well and surviving all the storms I see have hit all over the US.  We get a lot of rain but that has been about it.  There were some pretty massive tornados in northern Iowa and in Minnesota and I  hope you are all ok.  Sending you my love and prayers!

Take care everyone and  have a great day.  Judy

    Re: Hello everybody!

    Judy,

Glad you decided to drop in, just kidding I know what you mean life is busy and spring is here and almost summer, it time for all of us to get away from our computers and enjoy doing things again.

As far as the weather I grew up in tornado alley Tulsa OK I've seen more tornados then I care too, I've been in basements, under bridges and storm shelters.  I've seen it take out shopping malls, houses and the local grocery store.

Life is good!  We got a new puppy I haven't had a dog in over 10 years and even then it was only for a little while then she got run over. Tomorrow is the last day of school and I can start getting to work on time again.

I've also been thinking alot lately and I think it is time for me to move on and think about dating its been 3 1/2 years since I left my husband and I think I've been waiting for him to stop drinking and start loving me again but it's never gonna happen I know that.

I also bought a bike and road it on Sunday for the first time in about 22 years it was pretty scary.  I'm gonna try to get more in physically fit.

    Love ya

    Hey Kim,

WOw it sounds like you are making lots of changes!!!  Dating, getting physically fit, new puppy!!!!!!!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!  I know that I love my crazy dog and he is the first one I ever got from a puppy and kept. and he is like one of my kids.  HUGE but like a kid.

As for me, I am at a drug court conference in St. Louis and having a fantastic time.  I came here with our drug court treatment team and we have been walking all over, going out to eat and last night a few of us went to an AA meeting which was awesome.

I just woke up and am on my work laptop.........brought it to do reports at night.....so I thought i would check in and say hey!  Take care all!  Judy

    Re: Hello everybody!

    Good morning everyone!

Well, I have tried unsuccessfully NUMEROUS times to reply to the trial home placement post and for some freaky reason it won't let me no matter what I try and where I try to reply from.  So, Eomaia, if you read this one......please know that I have been trying since your first post to let you know how excited I am for you and for your family.  GOOD JOB!!!!!!  It takes a lot of  hard, personal and intensive work to follow all recommendations and to maintain sobriety so I know from experience that you have been working hard.

I'm happy for you and wish you and your family the very best.

As for me......I'm back home and have been since late Saturday.  Had a great time at the conference but am really, really, glad to be home.  I have just now felt like I am back on track today and getting caught up doing what I need to do.

Life is BUSY, hectic and exciting.  I hope you are all well.  Love and hugs from Iowa.  Judy

    Judy,

Don't feel bad I believe it was system error.  Cause I couldn't even get on the last couple days.
